Since 1967, Henri-François and Séverine de Breteuil, the present owners, have worked relentlessly to restore the chateau. Today, the chateau has regained its splendour and is open to the public all year round, 7 days a week. The chateau recounts through its apartments and its wax characters three centuries of French history. Eight fairy tales of Perrault are presented in the outbuildings of the chateau. In the summer, on the 75 hectare classed park totally open for the public, the presentations follow one another. Picnic and play areas have been set up for children. Labyrinth of a thousands box wood, souvenir of the wild-eyed grove of the eighteenth century where young and old have the pleasure to be lost.
