Baladobus

A shuttle bus to take you on a journey of discovery in the Vallée de Chevreuse: from May to October

Only 40 minutes from Paris, the Baladobus is the ideal way to discover the hidden treasures of the Vallée de Chevreuse, without worrying about parking or traffic jams. Offered by the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse Regional Natural Park for several years now, this tourist shuttle waits for passengers at the Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse RER terminus or the Rambouillet SNCF railway station and takes them to discover the Park's tourist attractions at their leisure. This service, the only one of its kind, runs on Sundays and holidays. From 1st May until the last Sunday in October, the Baladobus cuts across the Parc dropping visiters at the entrance to heritage sites and at the heart of the preserved natural spaces. Châteaux, forests, picturesque villages and working farms offer a way to get away from it all and a breath of fresh air for Parisians as soon as they step off the train...

Amongst the most well-known cultural sites to visit are the Granges de Port-Royal National Museum, the châteaux of Breteuil, Dampierre and La Madeleine and the Vaux de Cernay Abbey. Intermediary stops also allow the visitors to wander in the town centres or walk on the various discovery trails like the Maréchaux trail, the Maincourt trail or even the Jean Racine trail.  The new Baladobus departing from Rambouillet currently serves: the Espace Rambouillet, Rambouillet town centre, Huttopia Campsite and la Bergerie Nationale. For a few hours, the whole day, a short visit or a beautiful trek, the Baladobus will meet the visitor at St-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse RER B train station (direction Antony, Châtelet, gare du Nord) and the Rambouillet SNCF railway station (St-Quentin-en-Yvelines, Montparnasse) to take them to the most beautiful sites in the Regional Natural Park.
